Post-Conference Training to Expand your Knowledge

Post-conference training offers hands-on learning at Zuken Innovation World Americas

When you attend ZIW Americas this year, you’ll have 35+ classes to choose from. Customers, partners, and industry experts come together to deliver classes, panel discussions, one-on-one product expertise and more, including post-conference training to expand your product knowledge.

But, did you know that we’ve added a half day this year? Responding to participant feedback, we now offer post-conference training on Thursday, April 30. These optional classes will help you make the most of your travel time to maximize your ZIW experience. With four classes to choose from on topics related to E3.series and CR-8000, you’re sure to find something of interest. Take a look at the classes we’re offering:

1. Creating a Starter Library and Other Database Tips and Tricks

We know that establishing and maintaining library standards is an essential part of improving design efficiency. Hence, E3.series provides users with the ability to create a company-specific library and standard. The built-in configuration options in E3.series provide a wide array of capabilities that cater to all types of users and industries.

Join this post-conference training class to learn the fundamentals of creating an E3.series library, best practices, tips, tricks, customization techniques, and configuration options.

2. Mil-spec Design and Documentation in E3.series

Mil-spec design standards are stringent and quite different from the regular drawing standards. E3.series design tools offer both non-Mil-spec and Mil-spec design representation options. The versatility of E3.series means Mil-spec requirements can be met by taking full advantage of the capabilities in E3.series.

If you’re aiming to learn about a wide array of best practices and features in E3.series to efficiently create Mil-spec standard drawings, then this class is a must for you!

3. E3.formboard & Harness Builder for E3.series

E3.series is widely used in cable and harness design. The E3.formboard option provides customers with the ability to design 1:1 harness for manufacturing. Moreover, the Harness Builder for E3.series add-on helps customers easily automate the majority of harness design related tasks. The streamlined use of E3.formboard and Harness Builder for E3.series options augments the quoting and costing process while reducing errors.

Participants will learn the basics of using E3.formboard and Harness Builder for E3.series options to design and enhance a 1:1 scale harness. In addition, the participants will learn the automation options available to further improve the quality and efficiency of their harness design process.

4. CR-8000 Update Training V2020

Be the first users to experience the newest release of CR-8000 – hot off the press. Give the new features a spin with interactive, hands-on exercises and tutorials. We will spend time exploring what is new in Design Gateway, Design Force, and add-on tools such as DFM Elements and more.

In this post-conference training class, participants will learn what is new in CR-8000 tools for the 2020 release. Topics include Design Force efficiency gains in placement/routing, along with Design Gateway face-lift and performance improvements
