The Rise of Product Innovation in Poland, The Promising Emerging Market
When you think of Poland, the first things that perhaps come to mind is the quality of Polish Vodka and the beautiful Warsaw and Krakow. While having an industrious history, it has not been known for product development, but this is changing.
In the same way that we see the rise of countries like China, we may soon see people migrating into the country, rather than fleeing to other lands of opportunity like America and Russia.
Over recent years, the country has undergone massive economic growth, even during the global economic downturn, Poland was mostly unscathed. With the shining lights of the country’s economic success, Poland continues to attract foreign direct investment and maintain a healthy financial grounding.
In fact, Zuken has just announced a new office in Krakow to serve our growing customer base in the rail, automotive and industrial industries, along with providing a base for expansion within other areas of eastern Europe such as the Czech Republic, Hungary and the Baltics.
The Emergence of New Poland
Geographically wedged between Germany and Russia, Poland has spent decades isolated under communist rule, which collapsed in 1989. Not to mention the experience of two devastating World Wars, that caused great devastation and damaged the economic prospects of this hard-working nation. Despite all this, Poland has the largest economy in Central Europe (source The World Bank) and is now richer and more secure than it’s ever been.
